January Newsletter

New Year…

Hi all, hope you had a good time over the holidays J This is the year for the Plymouth Young Chamber, so everyone make the most of the opportunities we have planned! Also, join our Facebook group here to stay up to date.

Plymouth Gin Date Change…

I am very sad to say that the Plymouth Gin Q&A has been cancelled for January, but has been rescheduled for the Thursday 6th February!

Business Tour of the Month…

This month’s premises tour is at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel (opposite the Plymouth Pavilions). Jon Morcom will show us how each room in the hotel is themed and how the reception works. If anyone is considering studying hospitality, or is currently studying hospitality this would be a perfect insight into the working world of hotels. We will meet at the hotel’s reception at 4pm and the tour is expected to last an hour at the most.

If you can’t make it, send an email to Beth Clayton, and we will try to arrange a second tour.

Members Meet…

January will see our first members meeting. The meet will have a 4pm start the Plymouth Chamber (See www.plymouthyoungchamber.co.uk for directions) on Monday 26th January. If it entices you more, there will be juice and biscuits!

Next Month…

February will be the Q&A with Plymouth Gin and a premises tour of Martin Luck.
