The Plymouth Young Chamber has found that a few of our members have businesses going on. If you are one of these members – whether it’s mowing lawns, raising money for charity, washing cars or tutoring others – we want to know about it and we will create a Plymouth Young Chamber Directory that will get passed onto the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and could potentially help your business!

Architects Design Group...
The Architects Design Group is based at the Tamar Science Park. There will be a presentation from Ian Potts (Managing Director of ADG) about how he started this business from his spare bedroom with a few friends, then will show us around the building where you can see scale models of buildings, the software the employees use and hear from Ian himself about being self employed. So for those of you interested in becoming self employed and running your own business, Ian could be a real inspiration for you. The tour will start at 4.15 at ADG. Please RSVP if you are interested in going – there may be a chance of arranging some transport of taking us there and bringing us back to the city centre, but I need to know how many people are going

May members meeting will be at the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday 26th May with a 4.15pm start – see you there!
Next Month…
June will see an amazing talk at the University of Plymouth in the Robot Football Lab. Make a note in your diaries (4.15pm on Monday 15th June) because I bet you have never seen robots play football before – David Beckham needs to watch out – he could be replaced any day now! As usual, let me know if you are interested in coming.
