The Una Group and MooFu
Friday 13th March,
The Una Group is an umbrella corporation that consists of three areas; business support services, commercial property development and environmental activities. The Una Group support services include IT, book keeping, HR, Health & Safety, and a disaster recovery space and warehousing & logistics.
The Una Group have built a unique rubber processing facility in Plymouth and are leading a number of research projects into new applications for both this material and other recycling activities.
Moofu are dedicated to producing video and computer games to get students to learn in a way that is new and exciting, not in a way that has been directed. Their first product launched in January this year. This will be your chance to meet Nick Palfrey, Managing Director, and ask any questions about running your own successful business.

March’s members meet will have a

James Anderson eleven years old, and he has seen all the different problems that parts of the world face, as we all have, except he believed something needed to be done about it, ‘If we do more about this rather than just sitting around waiting for others to act, then at least something will be achieved’.
www.mrwaxer.co.uk helps many different charities such as: Macmillan Cancer Care, Oxfam, Water Aid, Shelterbox, RSPCA... They try and raise as much money as possible and have been featured in the news on many occasions. www.mrwaxer.co.uk sells lots of Candles, Cards, Stationery and Bookmarks to help raise money. www.mrwaxer.co.uk organises special events like the sponsored swim that James has recently achieved, and they raised over £370 just in one day!!
Altogether, www.mrwaxer.co.uk has raised just under £2000 in less than 2 years.
